About EIU-Paris

European International University

European Education. International Perspective. Practical Learning.

European International University (EIU-Paris) is a private higher education institution based in Paris, France, serving an international community of learners through business and professionally oriented higher education.

EIU-Paris is committed to making higher education relevant to the realities of today's professional world. Our approach emphasizes practical application, competency development, international perspectives, and the ability to translate academic knowledge into meaningful professional practice.

With the development of our on-campus programs in Paris, students can experience this educational philosophy in a face-to-face international learning environment while benefiting from the academic systems, digital learning resources, and global outlook of EIU-Paris.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide accessible, internationally oriented and industry-relevant higher education that develops knowledgeable, adaptable and responsible professionals.

We aim to connect academic learning with practical application, helping students develop the competencies, critical thinking, professional confidence, and lifelong learning mindset required in a rapidly changing global environment.

Our Vision

Our vision is to contribute to a more accessible and internationally connected higher education environment in which students are prepared not simply to earn qualifications, but to apply their knowledge effectively in real organizations, industries, and communities.

EIU-Paris seeks to combine international education, practical learning, technology, and industry relevance while remaining responsive to changing learner and employer needs.

Our Approach to Learning

At EIU-Paris, learning extends beyond the traditional classroom model.

Our programs are designed around the principle that students should be able to understand knowledge, apply it, question it, and use it to address practical business challenges.

On-campus students therefore experience a combination of:

Face-to-face teaching and faculty interaction
Applied and competency-focused learning
Case studies and real-world business scenarios
Individual and collaborative classroom activities
Independent learning through the EIU Learning Management System
Practical assessments and projects
Digital and professional skills development
International and cross-cultural perspectives
IKON SKILLS™ Micro-Credentials integrated alongside degree studies

This combination supports the development of both academic knowledge and competencies that students can carry into their professional lives.

Our Core Values

Competency & Mastery

We focus on what students can understand and apply. Learning and assessment are designed to develop meaningful knowledge and competencies rather than focusing solely on theoretical content.

Practical & Industry-Relevant Learning

Students are encouraged to connect academic concepts with contemporary organizations, industries, professional situations, and real-world challenges.

International Perspective

Our international student community and globally oriented curricula encourage students to understand business across cultures, markets, and professional environments.

Innovation & Digital Readiness

Technology is an important part of contemporary business and education. Students develop digital capabilities through their academic studies, learning environment, and complementary IKON SKILLS™ Micro-Credentials.

Student Development

Higher education should develop more than subject knowledge. We encourage critical thinking, communication, independence, adaptability, responsible decision-making, and lifelong learning.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

We are committed to maintaining and continuously improving the quality, relevance, and student experience of our academic programs.
