European International University (“EIU-Paris”, “the University”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of prospective students, applicants, enrolled students, graduates, website visitors, and other individuals who interact with the University.
This Privacy Policy explains how EIU-Paris collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data in connection with its on-campus programs in Paris, including inquiries, applications, admissions, enrollment, academic administration, professional certification pathways, student support, and related immigration and visa processes.
EIU-Paris processes personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and applicable French data-protection law.

The on-campus BBA and MBA programs are delivered at the Paris Education Group (PEG) Campus at 51 rue Paul Meurice, 75020 Paris, France.
EIU-Paris and ESTIAM are sister institutions under Paris Education Group (PEG). Where necessary for an integrated academic or professional certification pathway, relevant personal data may be processed or shared between the institutions in accordance with their respective responsibilities and applicable data-protection requirements.
The personal data collected depends on the nature of your interaction with EIU-Paris.
When you make an inquiry, apply for admission, enroll, or participate in an EIU-Paris program, we may collect information including:
- full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, and other identification information;
- residential address, country of residence, email address, telephone number, and WhatsApp contact details;
- passport, national identity card, residence permit, visa, or other identity and immigration documentation;
- passport photographs or other identification photographs;
- academic qualifications, transcripts, certificates, diplomas, educational history, and supporting academic documents;
- curriculum vitae, professional history, employment information, and professional experience;
- language-proficiency information and supporting documentation;
- application statements and other information submitted in support of an application;
- information concerning the program for which you have applied or enrolled;
- admissions decisions, eligibility assessments, enrollment information, student identification information, and academic records;
- documents and information required in connection with Campus France, French immigration, student visa, residence, or related administrative procedures;
- financial information or evidence required for enrollment, payment, immigration, visa, or related administrative purposes;
- tuition and fee payment information and transaction records;
- correspondence and communications with EIU-Paris;
- attendance, academic engagement, assessment, progression, and completion information;
- information relating to IKON SKILLS™ Micro-Credentials and applicable professional certification pathways;
- documents required for RNCP eligibility, assessment, certification, or verification;
- information submitted through website inquiry forms, application forms, or other EIU-Paris digital systems; and
- other information that you voluntarily provide or that is reasonably required for your application, enrollment, studies, or related administrative processes.
We seek to collect only information that is relevant and reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is requested.
Applicants to the on-campus programs may be required to provide documents containing substantial personal information, including passport copies, identity documents, academic records, visa documentation, financial evidence, and other documents required for admission or immigration-related processes.
EIU-Paris recognizes the sensitive nature of these documents.
Such documents will be processed only where necessary for legitimate admissions, enrollment, student administration, professional certification, regulatory, immigration, visa, or related purposes.
Applicants should submit documents only through the channels designated by EIU-Paris and should not send sensitive documentation to unauthorized persons or through unofficial communication channels.
EIU-Paris may process personal data for purposes including:
- responding to inquiries about EIU-Paris and its programs;
- communicating with prospective students;
- processing applications for admission;
- verifying identity and application information;
- assessing academic and professional eligibility;
- verifying academic qualifications and supporting documentation;
- assessing eligibility for applicable RNCP professional certification pathways;
- issuing admission, enrollment, and student documentation;
- managing tuition, fees, payments, and related financial administration;
- supporting applicable Campus France, visa, immigration, and related administrative processes;
- administering student enrollment and academic records;
- delivering and managing academic programs;
- providing access to academic and digital learning systems;
- administering assessments, academic progression, and program completion;
- administering applicable IKON SKILLS™ Micro-Credentials;
- supporting RNCP assessment, competency validation, certification, and jury processes where applicable;
- providing academic, administrative, and student support;
- communicating important academic, administrative, campus, or student information;
- maintaining academic quality and institutional records;
- preventing or investigating fraud, falsified documentation, academic misconduct, or other misuse;
- meeting legal, regulatory, accreditation, audit, certification, and institutional requirements;
- protecting the rights, safety, security, and legitimate interests of students, staff, and the University; and
- establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims where necessary.
We will not use personal data for purposes that are incompatible with the purposes for which it was collected unless permitted or required by law.
Depending on the circumstances, EIU-Paris may process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases under the GDPR:
Contract and pre-contractual measures: where processing is necessary to respond to an application, assess admission, enroll a student, administer studies, or perform obligations arising from the educational relationship.
Legal obligation: where processing is necessary for compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, reporting, immigration, certification, or other obligations.
Legitimate interests: where processing is necessary for the legitimate operation, administration, security, quality assurance, fraud prevention, or protection of EIU-Paris and its academic activities, provided those interests are not overridden by the rights and freedoms of the individual.
Consent: where consent is the appropriate legal basis and has been requested from the individual.
Where special categories of personal data are processed, EIU-Paris will rely on an applicable legal basis and condition permitted under data-protection law.
EIU-Paris does not sell personal data.
Personal data may be shared only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including with:
Paris Education Group and ESTIAM. EIU-Paris and ESTIAM are sister institutions under Paris Education Group. Relevant information may be shared where necessary for campus administration, integrated program arrangements, eligibility verification, professional certification, assessment, or other legitimate academic and administrative purposes.
For RNCP42324, ESTIAM acts as the certifying body. Relevant applicant and student information may therefore be provided to ESTIAM where required for eligibility, assessment, competency validation, jury, certification, or related processes.
For RNCP37680, information may be processed or shared with the relevant authorized assessment, examination, certification, or regulatory bodies where required.
Information may also be shared, where appropriate, with:
- French public authorities and administrative bodies;
- Campus France and relevant immigration or visa authorities;
- professional certification, examination, assessment, or jury bodies;
- accreditation, quality-assurance, regulatory, or auditing bodies;
- IKON SKILLS™ where necessary for Micro-Credential participation and administration;
- technology, learning-platform, payment, hosting, communications, and other service providers acting on behalf of or providing services to EIU-Paris;
- International Admissions Partners where an applicant has applied or is being supported through such an institution and the sharing is necessary for the admissions process;
- professional advisers, insurers, auditors, or legal representatives where necessary; and
- law-enforcement, judicial, governmental, or regulatory authorities where disclosure is legally required or otherwise permitted by law.
Only information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose should be shared.
Some prospective students may receive application support from an EIU-Paris International Admissions Partner.
International Admissions Partners are independent institutions or organizations and are not EIU-Paris itself.
Where an applicant works with an International Admissions Partner, relevant personal data may be exchanged between the applicant, the Admissions Partner, and EIU-Paris where necessary to support inquiries, applications, documentation, admissions communication, and enrollment.
Applicants should also review the privacy practices of the International Admissions Partner through which they provide personal information.
Formal admission decisions remain the responsibility of EIU-Paris and the applicable eligibility or certification bodies where relevant.
Because EIU-Paris works with students, applicants, academic systems, service providers, and institutional stakeholders internationally, personal data may in some circumstances be accessed from or transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area.
Where such transfers occur, EIU-Paris will seek to ensure that appropriate safeguards are applied as required by applicable data-protection law.
These safeguards may include an adequacy decision, appropriate contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism available under the GDPR.
EIU-Paris takes appropriate organizational and technical measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, destruction, or misuse.
Access to applicant and student information should be limited to individuals who require the information for legitimate academic, administrative, certification, student-support, technical, or legal purposes.
However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Applicants and students should therefore also take reasonable precautions when transmitting sensitive documents and should use official EIU-Paris channels whenever possible.
EIU-Paris retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for any additional period required by applicable legal, regulatory, academic, certification, accounting, audit, dispute-resolution, or record-keeping requirements.
Different categories of information may therefore be retained for different periods.
For example, records relating to an unsuccessful application may be retained for a different period from formal academic records relating to an enrolled student or graduate.
Where information is no longer required and there is no lawful basis for continued retention, it will be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise securely disposed of in accordance with applicable procedures.
Applicants and students are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and authentic information and documentation.
EIU-Paris may take reasonable steps to verify information submitted as part of an application, enrollment, academic, professional certification, or immigration-related process.
Submission of fraudulent, falsified, misleading, or materially inaccurate documentation may result in rejection of an application, withdrawal of admission or enrollment, academic or disciplinary action, and/or notification to relevant authorities or certification bodies where appropriate and lawful.
Subject to the GDPR and applicable French law, individuals may have the right to:
- request access to their personal data;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- request deletion of personal data in certain circumstances;
- request restriction of processing in certain circumstances;
- object to certain processing based on legitimate interests;
- request portability of certain personal data;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal; and
- lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection supervisory authority.
These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions or limitations.

EIU-Paris may request reasonable evidence of identity before responding to a data-protection request.
Individuals also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), the French data-protection supervisory authority.
When a prospective student or applicant submits information through an EIU-Paris website form, the information provided may be used to respond to the inquiry, process an application, provide admissions guidance, and communicate relevant information about the requested program or application.
Information submitted through an application form may become part of the applicant's admissions and, where the applicant enrolls, student record.
Where separate consent is required for optional marketing communications, such consent should be obtained independently of consent or acknowledgment necessary for processing an application.
The EIU-Paris website may use cookies and similar technologies necessary for website functionality, security, performance, analytics, or user preferences.
Where required by applicable law, non-essential cookies will be used only after the appropriate consent has been obtained.
Additional information concerning cookies may be provided through a separate Cookie Policy or cookie-management tool available on the website.
The EIU-Paris website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, payment providers, public authorities, or other external services.
EIU-Paris is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties. Individuals should review the privacy information provided by the relevant third party before submitting personal data directly to that organization.
EIU-Paris programs are higher-education programs. Where an applicant is under 18 years of age, additional documentation, authorization, or safeguards may be required in accordance with applicable law and University procedures.
EIU-Paris may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in legal requirements, institutional processes, technologies, services, or the way personal data is processed.
The current version will be published on the EIU-Paris website together with its effective or last-updated date.
Where a material change significantly affects how applicant or student personal data is processed, appropriate steps will be taken to communicate the change where required.
