On-Campus Life

Study, Live and Grow in Paris

Studying at EIU-Paris is about more than attending classes. For students joining our on-campus BBA and MBA programs, Paris becomes part of the learning experience: an international city where business, technology, culture, entrepreneurship, and professional life come together.

EIU-Paris and ESTIAM are sister institutions under Paris Education Group (PEG), delivering on-campus programs from the same PEG campus in Paris. Students undertake their face-to-face studies at the Paris Education Group campus at 51 Rue Paul Meurice, 75020 Paris, in the Porte des Lilas area. The campus is approximately five minutes on foot from Porte des Lilas and is served by Metro lines 3bis and 11, Tram 3b, and several bus routes.

Your Campus Experience

The on-campus programs are designed around regular face-to-face interaction, small student groups, applied learning, and direct engagement with faculty and classmates.

Students undertake their studies within the shared Paris Education Group campus environment, with access to the classrooms and applicable campus facilities supporting their on-campus learning experience. As EIU-Paris and ESTIAM are sister institutions within PEG, students study within a broader education-group environment while remaining part of the EIU-Paris academic community.

The classroom experience is complemented by EIU-Paris digital learning resources, TalentLMS, IKON SKILLS™ Micro-Credentials, independent study, research, project work, and academic activities outside scheduled teaching hours.

This combination gives students the structure of an on-campus education while encouraging the independence expected in European higher education.

An International Student Community

EIU-Paris welcomes students from different countries, cultures, educational backgrounds, and professional aspirations.

Studying in an international environment gives students opportunities to learn not only from faculty, but also from one another. Classroom discussions, business cases, projects, presentations, and everyday interaction expose students to different perspectives on business, leadership, markets, culture, and decision-making.

For students preparing for international careers, learning how to communicate and work effectively across cultures is an important part of the overall educational experience.

Life Beyond the Classroom

We encourage students to make Paris their home during their studies rather than experiencing the city only between classes.

Students can explore student associations, university sport, international and Erasmus communities, language exchanges, volunteering opportunities, and other activities throughout Paris. The City of Paris also provides opportunities such as French-language courses for adults, while permanent collections at City of Paris museums are free to visit.

Getting involved early can make a significant difference to the transition into university life, particularly for students arriving in France for the first time.

Living in Paris

Paris offers an extraordinary student experience, but students should also prepare realistically for life in a major European capital.

Accommodation, food, transport, mobile services, insurance, healthcare, and personal expenses all need to form part of a student's financial planning. EIU-Paris therefore provides students with practical guidance covering housing, banking, transport, healthcare, SIM cards, budgeting, employment, safety, and other aspects of settling into France.

Students should plan their living budget separately from tuition and should not assume that the minimum financial resources required for immigration purposes represent the actual cost of living in Paris.

Getting Around Paris

The Paris public transport system makes it possible for students to move around the city without owning a car.

The Paris Education Group campus is located near Porte des Lilas, with access to Metro lines 3bis and 11, Tram 3b, and multiple bus services.

Students receive practical guidance on transportation and navigating Paris as part of their preparation for student life.

Student Wellbeing & Support

Moving to a new city (and for many students, a new country) can involve academic, financial, cultural, and personal adjustment.

Students can access the wider French student-support system, including French health coverage for eligible international students, confidential psychological support, and Crous social services for students experiencing difficulties with areas such as food or housing.

EIU-Paris also encourages students to seek assistance early when a problem begins to affect their studies. Academic and student-affairs functions can coordinate where circumstances such as housing, financial, visa, health, or welfare difficulties begin to affect attendance or academic progression.

Academic Support

Students receive academic orientation at the beginning of their studies covering the program structure, dual-qualification pathway, teaching and assessment model, attendance, academic integrity, responsible use of AI, TalentLMS, IKON SKILLS™, academic progression, and where to seek assistance.

Students experiencing academic difficulties can receive appropriate guidance relating to study planning, academic expectations, assessments, faculty feedback, progression, reassessment, engagement, and outstanding academic requirements.

Our objective is not simply to help students complete individual assignments, but to support them in becoming increasingly independent and capable learners.

Make Paris Part of Your Education

Some of the most important learning during an international education happens beyond a textbook.

Living in Paris gives students an opportunity to develop independence, intercultural awareness, adaptability, confidence, professional networks, and a broader understanding of the world in which businesses operate.

At EIU-Paris, we encourage students to use that opportunity fully: study seriously, engage with others, explore the city, ask for help when needed, and make your years in Paris count.
